LETTER HOME - July 3, 1944

Dear Mom 'n Pop,

So, you said the Redwood Journal said what we were doing over here. What did they say? That's army logic for you – we can't say what' happening to us, but they can have it printed in the newspaper!

Noan, the rows along the ten acres of grapes were always that short. None of them have been removed! Stop fretting.
